Re: East Atlanta Strut 2013

Huge thanks to everyone that braved the rain on Saturday and made it to the East Atlanta Strut.  Unfortunately it was a long day of rain sandwiched between 2 perfect days.  My tent reached its saturation point and sprung multiple leaks.  To prevent damage to artwork I had to pack up early.  I will definitely be back next year and hopefully we'll have much better weather.

For those people I talked to about commissioned paintings or purchasing something at a later date, please send me an email.  Or you can always go to my Etsy shop for select prints or magnets.  If you don't see what you were looking for them please let me know.  Thanks again!!!

East Atlanta Strut - Saturday 9/21/13

I will be in the artist market of the East Atlanta Strut this coming Saturday (9/21).  Come check it out.  It's one of my favorite festivals of the year and always a blast.  As always there will be a lot of great artists, bands, and booze!

Still waiting for the booth assignments but Third Half Studios will be in the artist market too.  And the Mystery Men are playing at the Earl stage at 8pm! 

Atlantaland Art Show @ Mint Gallery 9/14 - 10/20

I will have a piece hanging in the Atlantaland art show at the Mint Gallery.  The show opens on Saturday 9/14 (7pm - 10pm) and will run through Sunday 10/20.  

 

Its 130+ paintings by various artists on the same sized square woodblocks.  Every painting will be $80.  I had 2 variations of a design that I wanted to use for the show.  I ended up picking 1 but still liking both.  I will probably print both at some point.  Here's what I went with:

Re: Grant Park Summer Shade Festival 2013

I had a blast at the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival this past weekend.  The weather was perfect and the festival was too.  Thanks to everyone that stopped by the booth and thanks to Third Half Studios for being great neighbors (as always).

Grant Park Summer Shade Festival 2013 - August 24 & 25

I will be at the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival this coming weekend (August 24 & 25th).  The festival will be going from 10a-10p on Saturday and 11a-7:30p on Sunday.  This will be my 2nd year there.  I had a blast last year and look forward to another good time.  I will be in Booth #54 right next to my pals Third Half Studios.  I have a ton of new stuff I can't wait to show off.  I hope you make it out!

Mindzhai Creative's Art Night - Thursday 8/22

Mindzhai Creative will be having their monthly art show this coming Thursday 8/22 from 7:30 - 10:30 pm.  I will have a couple of pieces hanging (my wood-cut zombie & a Boba Fett).  Free drinks and snacks.  Should be fun!

The Midway Pub Craft Show Saturday 8/17

This Saturday The Midway Pub & The Secret Spot are hosting an Arts & Crafts Market in conjunction with The East Atlanta Community Association.  I will be attending for the very first time along with some new art to show off.  The address is 552 Flat Shoals Ave SE Atlanta, GA 30316  and here is the Facebook event page.  Hope you can make it!

The following weekend I will be at the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival and then Dragon*Con!  This month is going to fly by! 

Unfortunately I had to cancel and didn't attend.  But look forward to their next one so I can make it up.
