New Work - Robot #5

I made this guy over the holiday break.  All the equations in the background are actual calculus equations.  This is my 5th robot and I think I have a few more left in me. You can see the others here: #1, #2, #3, and #4.  I'll have prints and magnets of this one available soon.  Shoot me an email if you're interested.

New Work - Lots of Robots

I just finished a bunch of new robots.  They are all mixed media with acrylic paint on canvas with computer parts worked in.  I will have these at this coming weekend's East Atlanta Strut.   Come check them out in person!

New Work - Lots More Robots!

Recently I've done a few mixed media robots on small canvas with computer parts incorporated in them.  You can see my 1st was here.  Since then I worked on a few more.  I just finished up this batch. Take a look...

New Work - Robot #4

I just finished another robot piece.  This one incorporates mixed media for the 1st time.  It's acrylic paint and computer parts on 8"x10" canvas. I also did one with and orange background but I think the green turned out better.

I've got a couple others started and I just picked up a fresh supply of computer parts so I should have some more soon!

new robot painting

Here is a new robot painting i just finished.  My previous 2 can be seen here and here

The binary code in the background is based on the Arecibo message.  I ended up cropping it to fit so it actually reads as gibberish if you actually know how to read it (which I don't).

If you want to see it in person, it's now hanging on a wall at the the Village Theatre.
